Located in The Dock Arts Centre, the Leitrim Design House proudly showcases contemporary Irish hand-crafted items, by local and national artisans. Founded in 2000, this initiative has evolved into one of Ireland’s most dynamic craft and design retailers. Explore The Dock, the county’s flag ship arts centre, situated in a restored 19th century former Courthouse, just a short walk from the town’s Main St. The Dock offers a multi-disciplinary programme of events and features a performance space, art galleries, artists’ studios, an arts education room, and The Leitrim Design House. The Costello Memorial Chapel

Located where the Main St. turns into Bridge St., stands the Costello Memorial Chapel, the smallest chapel in Europe and an extraordinary expression of deep affection and devotion by husband Edward Costello in memory of his beloved wife, Mary Josephine. Constructed in 1879, the chapel served as both a monument to their love and a final resting place, and measures a mere sixteen by twelve feet, covering an area of 192 square feet, Tucked in between two much taller buildings, the Costello Memorial Chapel remains a hidden gem, captivating the hearts of those fortunate enough to discover its unique tale of enduring love.
