Self Catering Houses & Apartment Stays

All our self catering house and apts are located centrally along the waterfront in Carrick on shannon and easy walking disctance to all restaurnats and bars.

We have fully fitted kitchens in all our properties. Each kitchen contains a standard washer, dryer machine, dishwasher, fridge (no freezer), hob, oven, microwave, and are well equipped with utensils, crockery and cutlery.

Yes, all houses and apartments come with Respa zip and link beds, and all bedrooms can be made up to suit your individual needs on request – please contact Philip directly on 086 602 9755 or email stay@carrickselfcatering.ie

There is no schedule cleaning of a house or apt for booking of seven nights or less.

For stays greater than seven nights, we provide a linen change service; on the seventh day of your stay our team will deliver fresh bed linen, towels, and cleaning supplies to your apartment (and every seven days thereafter for longer stays).

Standard Cancellation Policy
We offer free cancelation up to 14 days before arrival. If cancelled within 14 days of arrival, we reserve the right to charge 50% of the total booking. However, we are a flexible team here at Carrick Self Catering, and if we can re-rent your apartment or house, no cancellation charge will be applied.

Group Cancellation Policy
This applies to groups who are more than five and book multiple properties on the weekends. If the booking is cancelled within two months of arrival date you will lose your deposit. If cancelled a week prior to arrival you will lose 50% of  your total payment .

Group bookings of more than 5 to 20 people are required to pay a €300 deposit and groups of 20+ are required to pay a €500 deposit.

Deposits can be paid via bank transfer, Revolut or PayPal and will be refunded on checkout after a satisfactory inspection of your accommodation.

* Family and midweek bookings are exempt from paying any deposit except in the case of midweek (Sun to Fri) family bookings made for June/July/August, which will require a €300 payment up front and this can be used towards final payment.

Yes, guests must be 18 or older to complete a booking.

Checking In & Checking Out

Check-in is from 4pm, and check-out is by 11am.

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability. We will do our best to facilitate such requests but unfortunately, they cannot be guaranteed. Please contact Philip with such requests, as they are assigned on a first come, first served basis.

Longer Stays / Accommodation for Company Workers

Yes, we have special discounted rates of up to 30% for those looking for monthly stays or greater (subject to availability).

We do require a 20% deposit at time of booking; with the balance payable on arrival. For Longer stay queries please contact Philip directly on 086 602 755.

Yes, we offer discounted rates for companies who are looking for accommodation Sun to Fri for their staff, and such stays can be invoiced directly to the company.

Facilities & Services

Yes. Bed linen, towels, hand towels and tea towels are provided but towels are not provided for group bookings at weekends.

No hidden costs, no additional charges.

Yes, complimentary highspeed WiFi is available.

Yes, complimentary on-site parking is available.

Yes, complimentary cots (up to 2 years) are available. A fitted sheet is included with each cot, guests will need to provide all other cot linen. Upon request, high chairs may be available.

Yes, an iron and ironing board are provided in all of our houses and apartments.

The Waterfront Houses, Rowing Club House and Inver Geal Houses & Apartments all have a washer/dryer provided.

The Bridge House does not provide a washer/dryer but there is a laundrette nearby if required.

Just basic hand soap in all bathrooms.

Yes, we allow small to medium sized dogs for a an extra charge of €50 and a max of two dogs per house.

Midweek and full week stays are priced on a per house basis & include the stated number of persons each house can hold.

Weekend group stays are priced on a per person basis & include the stated number of persons each house can hold.

No, all houses and apartments are supplied with duvets and all bed linen. However, guests will need to bring bed linen for travel cots, if requested.

All houses and apartments come fully equipped with kitchens which include microwaves and dishwashers, washing machine and dryers, fridges and microwaves.

They all have TV’s in the living rooms, some properties have DVDs (please enquire prior to arrival).

A travel cot and highchair can also be pre-booked within extra charge. A cot and highchair is subject to availability at each location.

There is Wifi throughout the whole property and car parking is located in front of your house.

Yes, electricity are an additional charge payable to the onsite caretaker and only apply to midweek and full week stays.

*Electricity & Heating is €8.00 per day for May, June, July and August and €10.00 per day for all other months.

We recommend that you book as early as possible especially if you are planning your holiday for the busy months of July and August. Ireland has numerous bank holidays during the summer season and these tend to be booked up at an early stage.

Yes, if you wish to make a booking on line a credit card or a PayPal account is required and we only use to secure booking full payment is required a two weeks prior to your arrival via bank transfer/revolut/paypal . It can be arranged that you can pay cash on the day if none of these methods suit.

The balance of monies payable for your stay is expected 2 weeks prior to your arrival via bank transfer.

Any changes to your reservation must be made as early as possible by email/text/Whatsapp.

In the event of a cancellation, deposits are non-refundable but at times they may be used for a booking at another stage. In the event of a no-show we are obliged to hold all monies paid to us. In the event where the balance has not been paid we will charge the full amount of your stay to your credit card.

In event of cancellation the following charges will apply:
For group bookings if your booking is cancelled within two month of arrival date will result in full loss of your booking deposit.

For family midweek or weekly stays if you cancel within one weeks of arrival date will result in the loss of your full payment.

There is a wide range of bars and restaurants on your doorstep while Tesco, Aldi, Lidl and Supervalu supermarkets all located within 5 mins walk.

There is a small corner shop around the corner with all small items required.

There is also a huge selection of cafes located within 5 min walk of your accommodation.

On receiving your balance of payment we will send you an information page containing the name and number of your supervisor along with certain rules.

Check-in time is normally from 4pm onwards, however we do ask that you phone ahead the day before your arrival to give your supervisor an indication of your check in time.

If you require an early check-in this must be pre-arranged.

Check-out time is strictly 10am during the Summer months of July & August.

At other times we try to be as flexible as possible. Late check outs must be pre-arranged with the onsite supervisor. We ask that houses be left as they were found.

Yes, this deposit will be returned to you in full on your departure providing that the houses are left in a clean and tidy condition. (In some cases your security deposit will be returned to you by post or refunded to your account within 14 days of departure).

The amount of this security deposit differs depending on size of booking and we will inform you of the amount that will be required at the property when you book with us. A full set of terms & conditions will be issued on receipt of final payment for your stay.

During the summer months of July and august we only accept midweek stays from Sunday to Friday, full week stays from Sunday to Sunday or two nights stays on the weekends to include Friday and Saturday night.

For all other months we are flexible on the number of night stays and we will offer best rate to suit length of stay and number of people staying.

Yes, we accept pets and there is a charge of €50 per stay/booking.
