Zipit Lough Key Forest Park

Zipit is Ireland’s first high-wire aerial forest adventure. They have  built platforms on trees at various heights (ranging from 1 metre to 20 metres off the ground) and then connect them with a range of activities to allow the participant move from one tree to another.  At the beginning you are fitted with a harness to ensure your safety and our qualified instructors will give you a short initiation course to explain the features of the course and equipment (and to make sure you know what you’re doing).  There are four different circuits, with each circuit getting a little bit more challenging than the previous one but you probably won’t even notice this as you move along, activity by activity.  There are over 60 activities in total with about 750 metres of Zip lines so be prepared for 2 – 3 hours of adrenaline-fuelled fun as each activity builds your confidence. Climb high into the tree canopy and swing into cargo nets, surf with a difference or even try cycling over a tree top bridge on a BMX and zip down over one of our many zip lines.  And for those who claim to be fearless, there is always the base jump….

This package is available for one and two night stays in our self catering accommodation in carrick on shannon. When your hen party arrives you will receive a complimentary drink of your choice on arrival. We have a large selection of self catering apartments and houses all located along the waterfront in the town centre of carrick on shannon. This package includes a three course meal with a glass of wine in a local restaurant , afterwards head across  to the  moon river cruise which is located right in front of our accommodation so you do not have far to walk or we can organise the party bus to pick  your henparty up so you can arrive with a bang. Aboard the cruise there is a full bar serving a wide variety of drinks at a reasonable price and dance the two hours away to the dj on board while taking in the breathtaking views of the river shannon. When you are finished the moon river cruise you will be taken on the party bus to the basemnt nightclub in Murtaghs where you will be greeted by a hostess who will bring you to your reserve area and  you will receive a glass of bubbly .

Battlebridge Paintball is located just outside Carrick on Shannon and bout a 10min drive from our accomodation. They provide you with everything you need to enjoy custom-built Paintball, including a camouflage suit and appropriate safety equipment.

They also provide modern male/female changing and shower facilities & recommend that you bring a strong comfortable pair of boots and gloves.
